Classical and Contemporary Pilates Reformer

Course participants can expect to learn the Classical and Contemporary Pilates Reformer repertoire from Beginner to Advanced levels. Upon the completion of the course, participants will be qualified to:

● Work according to the principles of Pilates and teach these principles to others.

● Assess posture and postural deviations.

● Create comprehensive and safe Pilates programs, tailored to individual needs.

● Modify exercises according to the ability and goals of clients.

● Demonstrate Pilates exercises at a high level

● Teach well-organized group classes that provide a comprehensive Pilates experience!

Module 1 Sunday, September 13th: 9am-2pm

Module 2 Sunday, September 20th: 9am-2pm

Module 3 Sunday, September 27th: 9am-2pm

Module 4 Sunday, October 4th: 9am-2pm

Module 5 Sunday, October 11th: 9am-2pm

Module 6 Sunday, October 18th: 9am-2pm

Module 7 Sunday, October 25th: 9am-2pm

Module 8 Sunday, November 8th: 9am-2pm

Module 9 Sunday, November 15th: 9am-2pm

Module 10 Sunday, November 22nd: 9am-2pm

Module 11 Sunday, December 6th: 9am-2pm

Module 12 Sunday, December 13th: 9am-2pm

Independent Study Requirements

Observation Hours - 30 hours

Personal Practice Hours - 50 hours

Mentoring /Apprentice Teaching Hours - 35 hours total

  • 2-4 hours Mentored private sessions

  • 2-4 hours Mentored group classes

  • 15 hours Apprentice teaching private sessions

  • 15 hours Apprentice teaching group classes

Deposits & Fees

Non-refundable course reservation deposit due: $100 (to be applied toward total cost)

Includes:

  • Course training manual and supplemental materials

  • Complimentary reformer classes at Evolution Pilates while completing personal practice hours

  • Studio use for personal practice, observation, and practice teaching hours. More detailed information on practice hours will be shared upon registration.

  • Mentored teaching hours, testing hours, and so much love and support!

  • 1 private session included

$2,550 Total course fee (includes reservation fee) due upon start of course work.

Anatomy Requirement

A course in Anatomy for Pilates, or its equivalent, is also required for completion of the Instructor Training. We can discuss options for this requirement at our first meeting.
