Classical and Contemporary Pilates Reformer

Course participants can expect to learn the Classical and Contemporary Pilates Reformer repertoire from Beginner to Advanced levels. Upon the completion of the course, participants will be qualified to:

● Work according to the principles of Pilates and teach these principles to others.

● Assess posture and postural deviations.

● Create comprehensive and safe Pilates programs, tailored to individual needs.

● Modify exercises according to the ability and goals of clients.

● Demonstrate Pilates exercises at a high level

● Teach well-organized group classes that provide a comprehensive Pilates experience!

Module 2 Saturday, March 7th: 1pm-5pm

Module 3 Saturday, March 14th: 1pm-5pm

Module 4 Saturday, March 21st: 1pm-5pm

Module 5 Saturday, March 28th: 1pm-5pm

Module 6 Saturday, April 11th: 1pm-5pm

Module 7 Saturday, April 18th: 1pm-5pm

Module 8 Saturday, April 25th: 1pm-5pm

Module 9 Saturday, May 2nd 1pm-5pm

Module 10 Saturday, May 9th: 1pm-5pm

Module 11 Saturday, May 16th: 1pm-5pm

Module 12 Saturday, May 30th: 1pm-5pm

Independent Study Requirements

Observation Hours - 30 hours

Personal Practice Hours - 50 hours

Mentoring /Apprentice Teaching Hours - 35 hours total

  • 2-4 hours Mentored private sessions

  • 2-4 hours Mentored group classes

  • 15 hours Apprentice teaching private sessions

  • 15 hours Apprentice teaching group classes

Deposits & Fees

Non-refundable course reservation deposit due: $100 (to be applied toward total cost)

Includes:

  • Course training manual and supplemental materials

  • Complimentary reformer classes at Evolution Pilates while completing personal practice hours

  • Studio use for personal practice, observation, and practice teaching hours. More detailed information on practice hours will be shared upon registration.

  • Mentored teaching hours, testing hours, and so much love and support!

$2,400 Total course fee (includes reservation fee) due upon start of course work.

Anatomy Requirement

A course in Anatomy for Pilates, or its equivalent, is also required for completion of the Instructor Training. We can discuss options for this requirement at our first meeting.
