KRISTEN MANCUSO

senior Instructor

Kristen Mancuso is a native to Rochester, NY. She received her BS in Business Management with a concentration in Corporate Finance from St. John Fisher University. She and her husband founded their family owned and operated laundry, linen and laundry distribution businesses. She is the proud mother of three, her son, stepson and stepdaughter.

Kristen fell in love with classical Pilates over a decade ago. After suffering a painful hip labral tear and facing the possibility of surgery, Kristen discovered the healing power of Pilates—and never looked back. Through consistent practice, she not only avoided surgery but also rebuilt her strength, mobility, and body awareness. This transformative experience ignited a deep passion for the method and inspired her to become a comprehensive certified Pilates instructor.

She received her first mat class certification in 2017 from The Pilates Studio of Angeles and her full comprehensive certification through Classical Pilates Education, a PMA registered teacher training program in 2018. She is committed to continuing her education and travels annually to learn from different instructors across the country.

Kristen is dedicated to helping others discover how Pilates can build core strength, support injury recovery, promote sustainable movement, improve posture, flexibility, enhance balance, coordination and relieve stress and tension. She teaches to the body in front of her while helping people learn how to listen and honor their bodies. Her approach blends precision, empathy, and personal experience to create safe and effective sessions whether you’re recovering from injury, looking to move better through life or want a challenging movement experience to test strength, stamina, and control.

Kristen favorite Pilates quote is “Change happens through movement and movement heals.”
